Biography

Crashlander Studios is headed up by James Hutchinson, an award-winning Creative Director, previously at WDDG and Big Spaceship in New York, and most recently The Walt Disney Company in Los Angeles.

With over 15 years experience designing entertainment projects, James has partnered with clients such as Disney, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Lego, Sesame Workshop, Wrigley, Ubisoft, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros, and many more.

His work has garnered numerous awards: a Daytime Emmy, a Kidscreen Award, a Webby, two Flashforward awards, and an Art Director’s Club Silver Cube. James has also been recognized by Adobe's '10 Years of Flash' Anniversary, featured in numerous books and articles, and delivered talks at conferences in San Francisco, London, Singapore, and Belgium.
